Following Daphne Caruana Galizia’s extraordinary attack on Astrid Vella in The Malta Independent on Sunday of 15th February and again on 22nd February, I would like to offer my support to Astrid and FAA who have worked so hard and selflessly for St John’s Cathedral.

As a member of FAA, I object to Daphne’s misleading description of the organisation. FAA grew out of the need for such a pressure group. In fact, Astrid’s special award in Strasbourg last year has proved this point as well as giving her the international recognition she deserves.
