How unfortunate that Daphne Caruana Galizia has to sink so low and launch personal attacks against people who either have the temerity to disagree with her or whom she deems to be beneath her.

A case in point is her attack on Peter Apap Bologna last Sunday. Everybody who knows Peter, knows him to be a kind gentleman who does not deserve what he got from Daphne.

It is absolutely sad that a person of such high intellect as Daphne has to try to demolish those she deems to be her opponents, in such a manner.

Daphne has repeatedly told us of an incident in Valletta when, as a youngster, she was attacked by Labour thugs because she was taking part in an anti-government demonstration organised by environmentalists. It seems that that incident must have scarred Daphne for life as she is now using the same bullying tactics, verbally.

Such a pity as one would expect much better from such a well-bred lady.
