As I have already said, I am not interested in the theatre and I couldn’t care less whether a play is banned or not. I only hope that the law is enforced.
But I would like to know from the Board of Censors whether the blue films screened regularly in a particular cinema are censored or not. Certainly they are not.
Why? I am morally convinced that no one will answer this simple question.
A play, like Stitching, will interest only a limited number of people who consider themselves intellectuals and/or artists.
Films, on the other hand, especially hardcore pornography, is within easy reach of everyone.
Some may say: But we can watch anything on internet. Agreed.
But if these films are prohibited by law, the law should be enforced.
