A very big well done to the Birzebbuga local council for the useful bridge construction in Pretty Bay.

I am a disabled Birzebbuga resident using a wheelchair and have found this bridge very useful on my way to the bus terminus especially in those rainy days, where all the rain water passes through this area in the sea’s direction, apart from the continuous drainage leakage.

I have heard that the authorities have taken the decision to remove this bridge, which is useful to all the residents. What a shame! Do they know that this bridge existed before for the same purpose!?

Well I feel really disappointed with this decision, as I am sure that the authorities do not know what we residents have to face when it rains!

Hence I make an appeal to the authorities to revise their decision and leave the bridge where it is.
