As more time passes uncertainty for the future of Gozo Channel employees continues to grow. While the Cirkewwa project is earmarked to start by the end of the year it is still unclear where all Cirkewwa office staff are going to be allocated. Uncertainty about the future is even worrying the Gozitan workers stationed there, even though they have been promised to be transferred once the Mgarr project is ready.

On the other hand, there are rumours that to accommodate certain individuals there is a management and employee restructuring in the pipeline so that these individuals will be given high priority in the future. Some movements have already taken place.

During such uncertain times for the employees, when they hardly know anything about their future, it seems all doors have opened and calls for several posts are being filled by other individuals. These reports are increasingly worrying everyone and are creating huge uncertainties.
