Finally Maltese viewers will be able to watch a cultural show that will target the general public. Who said that culture is just for the elite?
If you have style, love art and want to enjoy a whole hour transmitting an all round cultural experience... the answer is Cult, which debuts this evening on Favourite Channel at 7pm. The new TV production company Impel Communications has signed up Italian born TV presenter, Francesco Blandino.
Francesco is sure to keep you tuned in to a show that is also a first for him. His Italian accent will give a twist to local culture, helped by his admirable ability to speak Maltese.
Blandino, started his TV experience at the age of 16 on an Italian station, hosting an afternoon show called In the afternoon.
Since then he kept working in front of the camera, until he decided to settle in Malta 2 years ago. Pleasantly surprised by the charisma and charm of Malta and its people, Francesco Blandino decided to remain on the island. He challenged himself to learn the Maltese language and you can judge his success for yourself when you tune in to the first edition of the programme this evening.
“I feel overwhelmed!” were Francesco’s first words when asked about his debut on Maltese TV.
“... I’m looking forward to be back in the entertainment field, in a country which has adopted me as its new citizen” commented Cult’s host.
Aware of his abilities and determined to know more about Maltese culture, Francesco Blandino is determined to transmit and promote everything that is going on in Malta and Gozo.
