I write in reference to the letter Unpleasant experience at APS, Floriana (TMID, 4 April).

Rules are to be followed but there is always the exception, and this was one of them. Somebody should sit that manager down and explain the facts of life to him/her.

Where is the compassion and good judgement? I hope the employees involved learned a lesson from this unfortunate incident.
