The desert is immense and yet those who risk their lives and are forced to cross it find it difficult to have a shelter where to stay if and when they arrive in Tripoli. They turn to our community at St Francis Catholic Church hoping to find at least a welcoming heart.

This is what we try to provide, together with a concrete humble sign of solidarity, providing them a temporary shelter, thanks to the volunteers of our social centre at the church. The cost of this minute project provided by our poor community and other contributions is rewarded when one sits and listens to these young people in search of a better and just future.
