The HSBC Winter Quiz in which 10 HSBC customers competed against each other to win one of 10 fantastic prizes, was held at Club 2-22 in Valletta. The customers were randomly drawn from the large number of customers who took up HSBC’s products between December 2008 and January 2009.

During the quiz, which was hosted by DJ Gianni, the participants were asked to answer a set of multiple-choice questions on sport, cinema, geography and general knowledge and then assigned a prize according to their score. Up for grabs were 10 fantastic prizes kindly provided by Forestals.

While the scores were being tallied, the competitors and their guests were treated to some of Club 2-22’s wine and finger food. The first prize, an HP personal computer, went to Marouska Farrugia. The first-runner up, Giorgio Sammut, won an HP Notebook. Antonella Grech placed third and won a Sony 32” HD LCD television. The fourth prize went to Marco Psaila who won a Smeg dishwasher, while Josette Ciantar won an Edesa washing machine for placing fifth. Silvio Carabott, in sixth place, won a Play Station 3, while Jonathan Farrugia and Joanne Zammit, in seventh and eighth place respectively, won a PSP each. In ninth place, Stephanie Saliba won a Pure Digital Radio One Classic and a Sony Mp3 player went to Patricia Hili in 10th place.
