“The Maltese Olympic Committee is aware of the optimal relations which exist with the local media and this was envisaged during the meetings held with managements of local television stations in view of Team Malta’s Games for Small States of Europe commitments next June in Cyprus ” – these were the comments of Mr. Justice Lino Farrugia Sacco on addressing representatives from Malta’s leading television stations namely Public Broadcasting Services Ltd. for TVM , One Productions Ltd. for One TV and Media.link Communications for Net Television.

MOC President moreover pointed out the reciprocal co-operation which always existed between the parties concerned and which co-operation lead to the signing of the contracts bound to give further publicity to Team Malta through programmes produced and which will serve as an ideal build up for the GSSE – Cyprus 2009 .

The signing of the contracts, bound to give coverage on Malta’s leading television stations, was held at the MOC Headquarters. These were signed by Mr Edmund Tabone, Manager Corporate Service – Public Broadcasting Services Limited, Mr Robert Francalanza – Human Resources Manager – One TV and Ms Louiselle Vassallo – Media Manager NetTV

TV media representatives present were also addressed by Mr Joseph Cassar, General Secretary of the Maltese Olympic Committee in the presence of Mr Vincent Scicluna – MOC Director of Marketing.
