I am a concerned and annoyed resident who lives in Triq l-Isbark tat-Torok, Qajjenza, Birzebbuga and would like to know why the Water Services Corporation sends people to repair apparent faults mainly on public holidays and Sundays.

This has been going on for the last 18 months.

No water leakages are seen, at least before they start work, as usually it is while they are working that the leak appears.

I am attaching a photo I took on Sunday 15 March and I have another taken on Sunday 5 April

The funny thing is that I cannot understand what they repair exactly by digging a hole and filling it up again.

Can someone give me some answers or at least investigate where the taxpayers’ money is going?
