I am writing to you to alert you of two errors made in my regard that were published in The Malta Independent on Sunday of 13 April. These were in Daphne Caruana Galizia’s column.

1. I am a training consultant not an American trained salesman. I have been a training consultant since 2002. I offer crafted training solutions in a very wide area of skills, including management learning events, programmes in supervisory skills, and courses for front line employees, such as customer care, time management, communication skills as well as sales training.

I reject this personal attack on my career. The comment is a clear attack on my personal professional credibility and I consider this libellous.

2. Neither I nor indeed anyone else within Gift of Life invited the priest mentioned in Mrs Caruana Galizia’s article to Malta. As far as we can gather, Fr Wilde invited himself and came over with the help and coordination of another separate local group. Mrs Caruana Galizia claimed that Gift of Life invited this priest to Malta as part of our campaign for the right to life. This was not the case.

He was interviewed by another paper and evidently was asked about the local campaign among other matters. We have no control over his opinion and feel that it was unprofessional and misleading for you to allow these unfounded claims to be printed. Mrs Caruana Galizia could have verified this with us before writing. No attempt to verify the facts was made at all.
