It’s disgusting to read the arrogant statement by the Prime Minister stating that it is not time for a strike (TMID, 27 April) though the only victims of the whole impact will be our children.

But was it the appropriate time for the Government to burden the whole country with exaggerated water and electricity bills? Not only that – I was more horrified to read on Il-Mument that the Government has the full support of the church in this regard.
