I would like to say a big thank you to Air Malta, especially the crew of KM118 on Sunday 12 April, who flew from Gatwick with my grandson, his partner and my two great grandchildren Ellis and Ella whose words as I met them off the plane around 4am on Monday were “Hello nanna we flew the plane.”

“Yes I know love,” I said. “No, we really did”. It turns out your crew took them to the flight deck and explained how it flies.

My answer was “Lucky children, you have done more than I have.”

A big thank you. I always have praise for your crew, they are marvellous. I wouldn’t fly with any one else but Air Malta.

Pity your customer care service isn’t as helpful and polite, but that’s another story.

Big thanks for making two children happy. Both say they are going to be pilots when they grow up.
