The strategy group of the PN has put up a billboard with pictures of the PL candidates running in the 6 June EP elections, as well as those of the three former leaders and the present leader of the Labour Party. The title chosen by the PN were the words of a well-known Maltese saying: skond iz-zokk il-fergha (translated literally: “according to the trunk, the branch”).

Of course, the idea behind this billboard was to denigrate those PL candidates. Instead, the PN strategy group couldn’t have chosen a better title to give to those PL candidates the best certificate they could have ever aspired for!

Therefore, according to the PN, the PL candidates have the dynamism and negotiating abilities of Dom Mintoff, the humility and honesty of Dr Karmenu Mifsud Bonnici, the intelligence and self-discipline of Dr Alfred Sant and the charisma, negotiating ability, honesty, intelligence and self-discipline of Dr Joseph Muscat!

Hence the choice for voters on 6 June is very clear. Vote for the PL candidates who are endowed with the above-mentioned attributes they have inherited from their former and present leaders of their party. The PN strategy group have confirmed this in the said billboard!
