White Hart booked a place in the final thanks to an all round team performance.

White Hart immediately took command of midfield however they could not penetrate the Floriana defence.

On the 12th Floriana in their first attack, Vassallo tested Vassallo Agius in goal with a bombshell which was saved with some difficulty. On the 23rd White Hart won their first Short Corner which saw Chris Attard clearing off the fatal line a David Agius hit.

Again Floriana were denied by Vassallo Agius when he saved a Marvin Vella effort. A minute later and on the stroke of half time White Hart scored. A quickly taken free hit by Luke Borg Costanzi from just outside the D was hit first time by David Agius with Carl Tua deflecting the ball over the Floriana goalkeeper Brandon Sant.

In the second half White Hart galvanized by that last gasp goal went straight in search of a second goal. After Sandro Bartolo just missed the near post after having received a pass by Luke Borg Costanzi. But the goal was in the air.

In the 5th from a Short Corner Luke Borg Costanzi's hard hit was deflected past Sant. On the 14th Kevin Filletti was unlucky to miss with a scorcher. White Hart kept up the pressure and on the 18th minute from a well executed short corner between Luke Borg Costanzi and David Agius, scored goal no three.

After this goal Floriana started coming more into the picture, but their efforts were dealt with by the White Hart defenders who gave little space to the attackers. To add to their misery White Hart scored goal number four with nine minutes to go through young Mark Zahra who concluded a Carl Tua, David Agius move.

Floriana did manage two quick goals to make the scoreline more respectable. The first coming from Christian Bonello and the second from Waylin Abdilla just before the final whistle.

BDO Sliema HS 2

Ta' Soldi Rabat Dep. 0

In the second match of the weekend BDO Sliema Hotsticks got the better of a depleted Ta' Soldi Rabat Depiro side by two goals to nil.

After a monotonous first half, Sliema forged ahead on the 38th minute. Lukas Plaehn after dribbling past Shawn Falzon and Branko Radojovic just inside Rabat's D, passed to the unmarked David Housely for the easiest of goals.

Rabat tried to salvage the game but they could not get past a tight Sliema defence.

On the 68th Sliema put the issue beyond doubt with a second goal scored by Ryan George.

The final between Sliema and White Hart will be played at Corradino on 30 May at 5pm.
