Yesterday's whole sailing programme in Limassol had to be postponed due to lack of wind. It was feared that the same type of weather might persist till tomorrow.

Sailors taking part here 20 years ago in the third edition, also faced the same problem.

The morning races were postponed to the afternoon, but had to be postponed to today.

Malta's sailors this year are as follows:

Optimist Class: Edward Fleri Soler, Thomas Zammit Tabona, Karl Miggiani and Nicola Manduca

Laser Standard: Benji Borg, Zak Borg, Jan Rossi

Laser Radial: Rachel D'Amato and Maya Podesta.
