Fresh from winning his National Championship in Malta, last week Ralph Decelis represented Malta during the IFBB European Bodybuilding Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia, along with Gilbert Zammit and Marvic Formosa. The President Mario Pace accompanied them.

Decelis placed 11th out of 19 contestants in the 100kg category. He was very close to placing in the top ten, as the difference in points was very minimal. This competition has the best bodybuilders in Europe competing against each other. The overall top three teams of the European competition were Ukraine, who came first, then Poland and and in the third place Slovakia. The top two, in the category Ralph Decelis took part in, were from Ukraine.
