As a regular reader of your paper I have just read that Malta intends to plant thousands of trees, thousands of shrubs and thousands of flowers. We are then told not to waste a vote.

We have had many EU MPs being exposed by the News of the World for fiddling expenses; now we have the British MPs at it. These people run a country. They are supposed to be clever.

Children are starving. The Church is always begging. I have friends in Zabbar whose street has not seen any tarmac in 50 years. So why are people losing faith in MPs and the Church?

At least we are getting some new parties, it is about time. Both parties are fading fast. Let us hope people wake up in time.
