Congratulations for the introduction of the bins but someone should visit the Ghadira area to see the state of irresponsible dumping as well as the lack of adequate regular and thorough cleaning of this tourist area.

Bins in streets should not be overflowing before the weekend starts. The ministry should monitor the works of all the departments and coordinate the work. I have been pestering WasteServ to clean the bring-in site at Tal-Gerbulin with little success, and yet in one morning a wheel shovel with three workmen emptied the half tank in the area and later on the WasteServ truck also visited – not to mention the role of the local council.

I can vouch that I have never seen a worker sweeping the streets in Ghadira Bay – so do not be fooled by this cheap propaganda – the state of cleanliness in Ghadira is appalling.
