It is a big shame that last Friday, the sports newscaster at Public Broadcasting Services failed to give the result of the waterpolo matches that had been played earlier at the Tal-Qroqq national pool.

It is not the first time that this has happened. Waterpolo is a sport that should get great attention from the media because it is followed by thousands of enthusiasts. And yet last Friday the PBS sports section after the 8pm news did not give the results of the matches, although they had ended at least 15 minutes before.

Is this the way PBS wants to treat its viewers? We got motor sport news which interests very few people, and yet we did not get the results of the waterpolo matches.

All it would have taken was a phone call. Doesn’t PBS know that mobile phones exist?
