Hilton Malta’s Gazebo is opening for this year’s summer season on 9 July, bringing back luxury barbecues under a star-studded Mediterranean sky while gentle waves lap the shore below. This is, by any measure, the best a Mediterranean evening has to offer.

The Gazebo will be pulling out all the stops for its inaugural weekend of the season, between 9 and 12 July. Guests are to be treated to an enticing entrée: a lavish platter bringing together an always interesting selection of some of the best things Mediterranean cuisines can offer. And who knows? It may include some original dishes along with items from the rest of the world.

To follow, the Hilton chefs will be preparing a selection of enticing pasta dishes, so each combination will be as freshly made, and as close to its peak as possible. Guests’ main problem will be restraint: they really will need to leave space for the meats and fish, prepared on the spot at a live cooking station so none of the luscious flavour or fresh texture gets lost.

All this richness begs for a crisp, fresh salad – which will be available at the Gazebo, along with other enticing accompaniments. Dessert and coffee will be served at the table. Of course, the Gazebo has a well-chosen list of wines available to complement the meal. After all, what Mediterranean dinner is complete without it?

For the opening weekend, the Gazebo is only charging e25 per diner – e10 less than the standard price for the season of e35. The price does include parking fees, making it easy to get to the Hilton Malta for one of the most luxurious barbecues under the Mediterranean stars.
