I think it’s high time – now more than ever before – that we start being refunded whenever there is a suspension in the service of both electricity and water. Strictly speaking, every time these utility services are for some reason or other suspended, consumers are saving on bills. But on the other hand, they are still paying rent on the meters.

Now that we are also paying a much higher rent for both meters, I find it unjustified that we keep doing so even for that time during which electricity and water are suspended. Yes, we should be refunded proportionally - little as it might be - the rent on meters. After all, we are all paying our bills till the last euro cent and nothing is deducted. Now that we are paying exorbitantly higher bills, I justly expect more from both corporations! Messrs Tranter and Giordmania please note!
