No establishment should be allowed to make such noise till early morning, especially when it interferes with local residents (TMID 30 June). These places should be made to shut down their loud music by at least 1am. Where is the Local City Council in all this? Residents should not have to put up with such noise pollution? If the establishment has a permit that allows them to play loud music till 4am, that permit should be ebbed to no later than 1am. I have seen this complaint before, but I guess nobody cares or dares enough to stop this kind of noise abuse. Noise pollution is a serious offense and should be dealt with immediately. I think the people of Dingli are entitled to a good night’s sleep and suggest Marianna Galea Xuereb takes this up with her local council or maybe file a formal complaint with the proper authorities!
