The British are in uproar because a Maltese firm won a British contract (TMID, 1 July).

How should the Maltese people feel when every major contract is given to foreigners? This should be an eye opener to our politicians.

Charity begins and ends at home. I am, however, more than sure that our politicians, especially those at present in power, would not heed this advice. Poor Malta.
