The Bay Street Complex will be hosting the English championship football club Sheffield Wednesday squad next Sunday.

The team is being honoured in Celebrity Street where their manager, Brian Laws, will be leaving his handprint on behalf of the team. Fans will also be given the possibility of meeting their football heroes.

Sheffield Wednesday is set to face local teams as they play in two triangular tournaments as part of their pre-season tour. The Owls will play two 45 minute matches on both of the match days – Monday, July 13 and Thursday, July 16 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium in Hamrun. Sheffield Wednesday will be on the Island between the 11 and 18 July.

The Bay Street Complex event on Sunday starts at 6.00pm.
