Please allow me to publicly thank the LIFE Yelkouan Shearwater Project team and the project manager Mr Nicholas Barbara for their service in the interest of beautiful mother nature, and specifically in the protection of the Yelkouan shearwater, an ‘honorary citizen’ of Malta.

The world around us is ours to administer and to preserve for future generations. We have the right to enjoy it, but we also bear the responsibility for enhancing nature’s ways thereby counteracting the ill-effects of our previous intrusions into its course of development.

Nature’s beauty is a small reflection of the magnificence of the Creator.
