Music Television, which broadcasts from Italy, has announced that it is adhering to a code of ethics to protect minors.
Thus, programmes and even promotions and advertisements up to a certain time will not feature images or words that might be disturbing to children.
Another bracket will feature less stringent broadcasting, but really heavy video clips will be relegated to a late hour.
I wonder whether the constitutionally appointed Broadcasting Authority has something along these lines? Or if the Commissioner for Children, who has been rather silent, can likewise take this matter up?
