Shooting: Clive Farrugia Wins Pellican Skeet Trophy

Clive Farrugia kept on his consistency winning The Pelican Skeet Trophy at Bidnija this weekend. He is becoming one of the most promising Maltese skeet shooters at the moment. During the latest GSSE in Cyprus he made his debut in these games with a bronze medal and only a few days after in Pescara Med games he managed a remarkable score of 117/125.

On Saturday Clive managed 22,24 and 24 with a total of 70 out of 75 while yesterday he managed 23 and 22 for a total of 115 from 125 to lead for the barrage finals where he managed 21 for a final total of 136.

Silvio Attard placed second with 129 (109+20) followed by Jason Sciberras with 127 (105+22), Darren Vella with 125 (104+21), Joe Muscat with 123 (105+18) while Noel Scicluna was sixth with 117 (99+18)
