I must say “hats off” to all those people who have decided to pull down that ugly fuel depot in Kalkara, which is not only an eyesore, but it is also blotting out the majestic view of the bastions. I hope that a similar decision will be taken and those ugly stores that have no artistic value and occupy precious space at No 1 Dock and the wall enclosing the No 1 Dock are also pulled down. The beauty of this one could be greatly enhanced by building a promenade, which I am sure all inhabitants would greatly appreciate.
