The Youth FA Annual Presentation night was held last Friday at the Bay View Terrace of the Corinthia Marina Hotel in St Julian’s.

The event was attended by 250 people who included club officials, coaches, players, parents of players and friends. Guests of honour were Mr Noel McCarthy, Head of Finance, Mr Francis Frendo, Head Operations and Mr Jeremy Vassallo Marketing Executive who all represented the main sponsors, APS Bank.

Mr Paul Rapa, Marketing Manager, and Mr Vincent Micallef, Promotion Manager, represented Farsons, who are the sponsors for the junior competitions.

In a pre-dinner short speech, Youth FA chairman Fr Hilary Tagliaferro welcomed all those present and thanked them for their attendance.

He also thanked all those involved in the organisation during the football season as it was very successful. He stressed the point that pique is very important and healthy as long as it will be in a friendly and sporting manner.
