Three times a year we choose to spend our holidays in Gozo, our “second home”. After a nice and relaxing time we always have a stressful and exhausting trip back to Germany because our flight is always scheduled at 8am.

Years ago we used to enjoy the comfortable helicopter service provided by Air Malta. During our last holiday in July we learned of the service offered by Harbour Air, which provides direct-flights from Mgarr to the airport.

So we went to the Harbour Air offices in Mgarr to obtain more information on these flights. The service had just started one week earlier and the very friendly secretary booked us a flight.

So on our departure date we had to be in Mgarr at 6 in the morning and the flight was right on time at 6.30am.

Boarding a seaplane turned out to be a great adventure as we had a fantastic flight with a beautiful view of Malta’s south coast. The flight takes only 10 minutes. When we arrived at the airport everything was organised, including our luggage.

Harbour Air Malta has a fantastic service with good prices! Thus, we hope that the service will keep on being offered. This is really a good service for Gozo and for the tourism product. Thanks Harbour Air.
