Twenty-three years ago, precisely on 1 August, Thy Kingdom Come Community kicked off. When God initiates something even the worst of challenges cannot halt it from flourishing and bearing abundant good fruit. Thy Kingdom Come Community is an excellent example of this.

Throughout these twenty-three years, Thy Kingdom Come managed to listen attentively to the Holy Spirit’s urgings to evangelise non Church-goers by going and meeting them where they are. The Good Lord has been doing marvellous things by means of this Community, especially through the proclamation of the Word of God by making intelligent use of modern technology such as TV and radio programmes and internet; the administration of the sacraments; the ministry of healing, the promotion of a renewed loving devotion for Mary the Mother of God in order to highlight her importance in the life and mission of Jesus, the Church and the individual believer, together with organising and animating pilgrimages to Marian Shrines; the spreading of the Gospels via reach outs intended to bring back to the Catholic sheepfold non practicing Catholics and others who are opened to Jesus Christ, the two annual conferences, and many other Spirit-led initiatives.

On 1 August, 2002, Thy Kingdom Come Community gave birth to the Catholic Revival Movement. The purpose of the latter is that of propagating the Catholic faith in today’s society by being docile to the Spirit’s leading most notably by embracing with careful discernment the earlier mentioned initiatives of Thy Kingdom Come Community. Personally speaking I must say that I have been greatly spiritually profiting from God’s workings in and through this Community. As a believer and a priest I can say that in many ways in Thy Kingdom Come Community one experiences the Church of the book of Acts of the Apostles.

I wholeheartedly encourage priests, believers and those who are searching to come to Thy Kingdom Come Community Centre at Hal Ghaxaq, on your way to Birzebbugia, to meet the Lord Jesus. The Eucharist Adoration is on every Wednesday from 9.00pm to 10pm, whereas the Word of God is celebrated every Friday from 8.30pm onwards.

O taste and see that the LORD is good! Happy is the man who takes refuge in him! (Psalm 34, 8). Come, taste and see that the Lord is good to you and your family through the Thy Kingdom Come Community.
