The Malta Tennis Federation will be organising the National Clubs’ Doubles championship sponsored by Gasan Mamo Insurance.

This will be held between tomorrow and Monday at the Marsa Sports Club who will be hosting the event.

Seven clubs have entered for this competition and it is expected to be of a high level considering that all clubs have nominated their best players to represent them. Among these one finds former national champions, Gordon Axiaq and Lisa Camenzuli, together with others who formed part of the national squads.

The federation has also entered two teams of its own comprised of the current top junior players as it believes this event will give them gain much needed experience.
