The BRC (British Retail Consortium) Certificate has been awarded to Golden Harvest, Malta's leading manufacturer of bread, confectionery and ice cream products, by AIB International Inc.

This Certificate was awarded following an extensive inspection and evaluation of the company's facilities in San Gwann, carried out by AIB International Inc. Food Safety Auditors who inspected the company's premises and operation processes, which were found to be in conformity with the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 5.

The Certificate was issued on the basis of Golden Harvest's Food Safety & Hygiene Programme; the HACCP Plan procedures and implementation; the excellent Pest Control Programme; its Operational Methods and Personnel Practises; its Personnel Training Programme; the maintenance of Food Safety Procedures; a good Cleaning Practises Programme and first-class maintenance of documents.
