I would like to draw the attention of both the Gozo Ministry and department concerned about the following incident: Last week, on Tuesday 15 September, early in the morning, while I was strolling along Wied tac-Cianti, near Capuchini area, in the limits of Victoria, I noticed a lake with an area of approximately 50 square metres covered with raw sewage which I presumed, was flowing from the nearby pumping station.

This inconvenience had been present day in day out. Although I have drawn out the attention of the above-mentioned Ministry and department several times, no one dared to take a look at what was happening in families living hereby just few metres away.

I hope that with these few lines, earliest remedies will be carried out or otherwise I will not hesitate to take necessary legal action to safeguard my family’s health.
