On behalf of myself and thousands of listeners in Malta and abroad who listen to this radio station, I would like to draw your attention to this particular programme called Nightcap that is hosted by disc jockey Joe Vella daily on Radio 101 from 11.30pm to 2.30am.

Joe Vella informed his listeners that this programme will be terminated this week and is not being rescheduled to be aired in the new scheme. We are all deeply disappointed because Joe has been absolutely great, a true inspiration and friend to all his listeners and has always been there for all of us with his lovely music. He even allows us to send SMSs, emails, facebook and phone calls allowing us to listen to our choices as well, thus satisfying everybody’s tastes. His programme includes news and sports updates. Very informative.

We ask today, why stop such a wonderful programme?
