To strengthen the global reach of the company and hot on the heels of Fashion Week 2009, Inglot Cosmetics, a Polish-based cosmetics company with over 250 stores in Australia, Europe, Canada, Dubai, and Asia, recently opened its flagship North American store in New York City’s Time’s Square.
At the North American launch party, supermodel Anja Rubik and Wojtek Inglot, Inglot Cosmetics founder, unveiled the company’s newest product, a revolutionary and the world’s first breathable nail polish, called O2M. The current collection includes 46 colours.
The technology behind O2M is based on the polymer originally designed for breathable contact lenses. Inglot has expanded on the polymer to develop an avant-garde nail polish that provides better oxygenation, which increases the health and smoothness of nails.
“We felt that New York City provided the ideal forum for us to launch our newest product in conjunction with the opening of our North American flagship store and Fashion Week,” said Mr Inglot. “Inglot is a combination of high-end luxury products at everyday value prices. There is simply no other company that infuses such advanced technology and beauty in this manner.”
O2M significantly increases the oxygen and water vapour permeability of the varnish facilitating a smooth glossy spreading of the varnish that reduces the tightness of the polish allowing nails to breath, diminishing the potential of fungal infections.
Inglot also offers the “Freedom System”, a collection of more than three billion colour combinations, allowing individuals to assemble a palette of their own colour preferences. This enables people to mix and match and customize their make-up preferences including palate sizes and shapes, choosing between round, rectangular or square pans in a compact. None of the products are tested on animals.
