I twice visited the Renzo Piano’s exhibition for the proposed Valletta City Gate at the Museum of Archeology.
On both occasions I asked for the visitors’ comments book and I was told that there was none! I ask myself... why? Am I not living in a democratic society? Why can’t I leave a comment to express my ideas about such an important national project?
Is the Maltese Government saying that Renzo Piano’s design proposals are not strong enough to handle a healthy national discussion about such a project that would effect us all as a nation? Or is it simply saying that our government doesn’t give a toss about our opinions on the proposed project?
