It is not surprising that there are people who steal anything especially if they know they will be getting away with it (Even water is stolen, TMID 7 October).
I had the CD in my computer stolen from my home and the security equipment messed twice. But some of the policemen to whom I reported tried to persuade me that no one entered my home. How is it possible if things at home get robbed, messed up or broken?
Obviously it is a hate crime. Morally, someone is responsible both for collecting evidence or for giving it if they have it. May I suggest that the courts will not ignore the victim’s personal evidence. At least more expertise is required to sort out who is really saying the truth for sooner or later truth will come out as it always does. It will be a shame if the truth proves to be different from court rulings – for that is a moral issue.
