I would like to warn all Mark III Clio owners to be very careful when parking at the Mater Dei car park, as there is apparently a new trend of theft going on at the moment.
Last Monday I parked at Mater Dei hospital for an out patients visit. When I returned to my car I found that both my windscreen top rubber corners were missing and both side rubbers lifted. I couldn’t believe my eyes, as this was really ridiculous! I called the local parts supplier to buy the stolen parts and to my surprise, I was told that two other clients had already asked for this part the previous week and, like me, had been robbed from the same location – the Mater Dei car park. The supplier explained that the rubber corners do not come on their own but as a complete kit.
I suggest to all Clio owners to properly seal these parts in order to avoid useless inconvenience and expense. It is most shameful!
