I was in the middle of cooking and my gas cylinder suddenly ran out, so I rushed to Addolorata cemetery to buy one from the truck, but found no one selling gas. The next morning I phoned Enemalta Gas Division, who told me that they are open at Qajjenza. When I arrived there, the office personnel told me that I would have to wait until a truck came out and sold me a cylinder, because they cannot sell to me from the office.
I think that now gas is more expensive than ever, it is time this country found a better way of distributing essential gas cylinders. It is very difficult for people who work office hours to have to go by car around the streets, trying to come across a gas distributor. There should be shops or service stations from where you can obtain cylinders at least during normal working hours.
