Reference is made to ‘A different planet’, published on TMID 25 October which was a reply to my original correspondence.
The author should kindly note that they have interpreted my letter totally in the wrong manner. I just want to appeal that religious education in Nadur should be rescheduled to once or twice a week and with all age groups at the same time, as it has been done in most areas of Gozo this year.
I do not feel that five-year-olds are capable of traveling in a minibus on their own.
I do not feel that boys’ religious education lessons are held at the appropriate time in winter and I do not feel that a daily 20-minute schedule for different ages, different sexes, at different locations and at different times fits well with evening family gatherings which our bishop preaches so much about!
Try to understand families with more than one child and of different sexes. Please take a few moments to check out both the Dutrina (girls) and Muzew (boys) schedule.
