As a private individual and in my capacity as general secretary of the Malta Rugby Football Union I would like to pay tribute to the magnificent support of the public who attended the international match against Sweden last weekend.

That wonderful, enthusiastic and inspiring roar, so well led by Colin Fitz and the great South End Core, is such a boost to the Malta boys and it is no wonder that Malta is also a preferred venue for visiting nations teams. A big thank you to the several thousand fans who helped us win yet again,
