The square in Balluta just across from the steps leading down to the boat spaces and the quay extending out towards Exiles is one which has escaped attention. A once open space which has for years now been totally encumbered by chairs, tables and potted plants in front of two hotels which have turned it into their front patio. A square which I still remember as an open space at the time when a local priest used to live there in his family home before the developers moved in. Perhaps this square should be renamed Cinderella Square?
