I usually go and hear Mass in Valletta on my way to work.

For me, this is a daily ritual because I honestly think that hearing Mass gives a good start to the day ahead. When it was my turn to receive Holy Communion, the priest objected to a tiny rosary bead I held in my right hand and with a slight rancour in his voice, he asked me to remove it. Why?

I did not have a satanic object in my hands but a rosary bead. Isn’t this another case of making people stay away from the church?
