True happiness comes from within, not in how many things we have, or on how many presents we will receive, especially in the coming days, but from a heart filled with the love of Christ, a heart more ready to give than to receive, because only in giving will we receive peace in our hearts.

“Give until it hurts”, says Mother Teresa. Yes in giving, not from the extras that we have, but in giving something that is valuable for us, something which is precious for us, and is hurtful for us to give, we receive true happiness in our hearts.

Again we must mention that great woman, Mother Teresa, a woman filled with the love of Christ, because she helped the poorest of the poor, yes she taught us a lot how to live a happy life. She used to say that when we give to others, when we help others, not they must say thank you to us, but we must say thank you to them, for in helping them they are giving us the opportunity to help the Risen Christ, and we know what kind of present He is going to give us, happiness, true happiness here on earth, and Eternal Glory in Heaven, because He was in need and we helped him in others.

May each one of us, in such a busy world, stop for a moment and think seriously where we can find true happiness in our hearts forever, because only in Jesus, only when Jesus is the centre of our hearts, only in helping others can we acquire such happiness.

Finally we must remember that there are three steps in our life to meet Jesus and these are when we read the Bible and pray with it, when we receive Holy Communion with devotion, and when we help others, the needy among the needy persons. These are the three pillars that must be our foundation to live forever a happy life here on earth and heaven after this world.
