Grabbing The nearest lifeboat

I have heard how Malta was compared to a strong ship sailing through the storm, full speed ahead towards the promising horizon. Gee! Those were the same words the captain of the Titanic said just before hitting the iceberg! At least that captain had the decency to go down with his ship! Some captains just grab the nearest lifeboat and, with a few select crew-members and first-class passengers, abandon ship and all aboard to Davy Jones’ Locker.
