Malta Independent Saturday, 5 December 2009, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

Newly opened Vincent Shoe Store in Tower Road Sliema is giving children and parents a free Alcazar music CD with every purchase, until stocks last. Popular Swedish pop group Alcazar have teamed up with Vincent to celebrate Vincent's ten-year anniversary, and have produced a 'Vincent' song called "One, two, three, four" especially for the occasion.

"I met Patrick and Thomas, the Vincent designer team, eight years ago and have stayed in contact with them ever since, says Lina, one of the Band members. "It has been awesome to see Vincent's development during the years and it makes me happy to now be able to work together in this celebration project".

Alcazar is famous around the world for their most popular ever hit single "Crying at the Discotheque". Having just released their new album Disco Defenders, the Band is climbing the charts all over Europe with tracks such as "Burning" and "Stay the Night".

"The opening of our Store in Malta has been a resounding success," said Sarah Portelli, Retail Director at P. Cutajar & Co Ltd, holder of the Malta franchise. "Now we are keeping in step with Vincent Shoe Store globally to celebrate the 10th Anniversary and to ensure Maltese consumers are part of what is happening in other Vincent franchises all over the world."

Vincent Shoe Stores are located around the world in Sweden, UK, Scotland, Ireland, USA, Canada, Estonia, Italy, Korea, Russia, Switzerland, Germany and Austria. The Malta concept store has a wide variety of boots, sneakers, soft baby booties, shoes for daily wear, pre-walker shoes, party shoes and school shoes. Customers, young and old, will also find a vast array of exciting accessories to choose from, such as back packs, socks, tights and shoe care products.
