The group known as ‘That’s Rubbish!’ is doing commendable work to clean up our beaches.

Do we also need a group of youngsters to pick up brooms and clean up our streets?

These photos were taken right outside the St Julian’s Local Council on Monday 14 December at about 5pm. Didn’t anyone at the Local Council bother to make a phone call that day and try and get the road cleaned up or at least the area right outside their doorway? It is not the council’s fault if residents’ trash gets strewn all over our streets – but can they at least try to do something about it or are they too busy collecting money from fines?
